TwinnPeak Medical (“TwinnPeak”, “we”, “us”) runs twinnpeak.com from Melbourne, Australia. This policy explains what personal information we collect and how we handle it, in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
1. What we collect
- Account details: name, email, phone number and password (stored in encrypted form). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address.
- Vendor details: shop name, description, logo, contact details and listings.
- Messages: what you send through our contact form or to vendors.
- Orders: items, delivery details and payment status. Card details are handled by our payment processors, not stored by us.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and cookies.
2. How we use it
- To run your account and the Marketplace.
- To pass your enquiries and orders to the vendor concerned.
- To send service emails, such as order updates and password resets.
- To protect the site from spam, fraud and automated sign ups. We log the IP address of blocked submissions for this purpose.
- To improve the Marketplace.
3. Who we share it with
- Vendors, when you contact them or buy from them.
- Payment processors such as Stripe and PayPal.
- Our hosting, email and sign in providers.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal information. Some vendors and service providers are located outside Australia, so your information may be handled overseas.
4. Cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember your cart and protect the site. You can block cookies in your browser, but parts of the Marketplace may then not work.
5. Keeping it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect your information and keep it only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires.
6. Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete your account. If you have a privacy concern, contact us first. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
